In June 2018, 25 Trinity Catholic Academy 8th graders celebrated with family and friends their graduation from middle school with a mass and ceremony at Brockton’s Christ the King Church. Class Speaker Hannah Baptiste, who started at TCA when she was four years old, reflected on her experiences at TCA and reminisced about her time with the teachers and students of TCA. Here is an excerpt from her speech:
"Over the years I’ve had such a strong relationship with everyone in my class. No matter what, we always have each other’s backs. This is probably because some of us have known each other since preschool. I am going to miss these strong relationships in high school. We have been together so long, learned countless lessons, which we will carry with us wherever we may go. Lessons about friendship, character, love, life, and most of all, that God is good. We have made friendships to last a lifetime. I will miss everything about this school but I will hold back my tears because as Dr. Seuss said “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” As the person chosen to represent the eighth grade, my last piece of advice for my friends is go on and do as Dr. Seuss said, smile because our time at Trinity Catholic Academy happened. Thank you."
The entire Trinity Catholic Academy community prays for all 25 of our graduates as they move on to high school. May they remain rooted in Christ as they take on new challenges and succeed at even greater achievements in school and life. Congratulations!
